Berin's Camp

Niiice. A stretch a tarp. A tapped tree. Deer sheite everywhere. U coulda bin out here a bit n bin good. - Rogue

We did lots of patrols, Asher and I. There was nothing coming or going. No Walkers anywhere. Ogre called in Tor when you disappeared n Arrow took off. She said watch close as the Beauty was under again but we've seen nothing. - Berin

Not normal that. 'Specially since 1 picked up on the Runt. - Arrow

What?! The Runt's been tagged?? Oh this is no good. Not for you, nor the Fae. Why didn't you say before?? - Berin

N this is a big deal y? I mean besides wot he is to us? - R

Y u have to ask the hard questions? Hmmmm? Fine. Berin. U tell him. - Arrow

Oh, thanks. Just pass it on would you?

Alright.
*sigh*

...There's not much around here that is how it appears... - B

Now ain't that jus the understatement a the year, eh?! - R

Shush, Ass, he' s got the talk! U's so full a wot's u know n it ain't squat! - A

Y so angry Chickadee?! - R

Oooooohhh! Uuuuu.... - A

Arrow! Dun do bheal?
And you to, Hireling!

Good.

Arrow's right to be touchy. Mixed bloods work twice as hard and are lucky to get only a fraction of respect. - B

Nots the 1st I' ve heard u called that Long Bow, wot exactly r u? - R

Hush girl! Not what you need to know, Rogue. Runt is our concern and I'm not obliged to tell so listen good as you're getting highlights. - B

*huf*
Fine... - R

You know that Changelings are usually Aelfborn who are considered to be weak or diseased. No? Well now you do. Mixed blood leads to strange things at times and Runt was given off as Changeling because of it. But despite how he seems his genetics are such that he couldn't be given off the way the family wanted. - B

Who in their right mind would give Runt away? I thought he was child to some of the common folk 'round about the castle! - R

N that right there is y I put up with ur sorry ass. - A

Please! Enough! Time's too short for banter.
Now I don't know that behind the Briarwood was the best place for him as it filters time differently but in some ways it's been the best, holding back his growth some. We always new he'd be a target out here. What we should have anticipated was the Walker's feeling him out. - B

Y would his peeps want 2 give him away? I jus don't gets it? - R

Cuz people fears wot they don't know, aye? Ellyllon from the Cymru is his mother's peeps, n Fae r somes they don't trust, but it ain't jis his pops trickle of Fae blood at issue, he was Fae n Ward, amongst other things. HUGE unknown. Lots a power in the blood, but he came small, Runt did. Waaay too small n they's scared. We took him in. Against the Ogre's wishes, Beauty n I. Ogre tolerates him, but not by much. He's got power in him for such a small 'un. I knew the life the Walkers would love to suck outta him. It was my job to watch out for yon tyke n I blew it!! - A

Arrow! Hey. Long Bow! Hold up! - R

Leave her. Give her a minute. We'll catch up. - B

Arrrrrghhh!! So Fubar'd! - R
